It gives me great pleasure to invite you, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the European Association of Psychological Assessment, to come to San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain) to attend the next conference of our Association.

After our successful conference in Riga in 2011, we look forward to having another conference that promises to showcase the latest development in psychological assessment. The conference will bring together researchers and practitioners from various parts of the world.

The organization of the conference is in the able hands of Itziar Alonso-Arbiol and her colleagues. You can trust that they will develop a well-structured conference with top-notch people.

Dear colleague,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of ECPA12, I would like to invite you to the conference that will take place from the 17 to 20 of July of 2013 in San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain). While the scientific committee is working to design a program up to the standards of previous conferences, the organizing committee is devoted to make this event a very memorable one for all the participants by taking care of every detail.

Located on the northern coast, San Sebastian is well-known for being one the most beautiful cities of Spain. Any of the four incredible beaches of the city offers an unforgettable experience in summer. Medium and high-size mountains and vast green areas also sprinkle the region, making the whole Basque Country region an amazing spectacle of nature. But beauty is also all over the place here, where palaces and other buildings are the perfect gift for the newcomer’s eyes.

The cultural offer attracts many visitors in different seasons of the year for the international film festival and jazz festival, just to mention but a few. In nearby cities we have some other worldwide-reputed museums, such as Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and Balenciaga Museum in Getaria. We will make sure that social events arranged within the conference or other deals before and after the conference allow you enjoying what San Sebastian and the Basque Country has to offer for a pleasurable experience.

And last but not least, this is definitively the paradise for gastronomy lovers; natural cradle of some the best chefs worldwide and of the local speciality called “pintxos”, enjoying a nice meal is a must for any who has made the wise decision of visiting San Sebastian. 

Residents of the whole Basque region have a reputation for being wonderful hosts. Let us show you during the conference where such reputation comes from.
